Show Biz Pod Launches April 9th with First Three Episodes
A New Podcast About the Elimination of Financial Struggle for Artists
New York, NY – April 9, 2025 – Today marks the highly anticipated launch of Show Biz Pod, a new podcast co-hosted by actors and business professionals Carissa Ferguson and Emma Claire Dykes. The podcast, which officially kicks off today, April 9th, will feature in-depth conversations about balancing creative careers with side hustles, entrepreneurship, and personal finance, offering valuable insights for artists looking to build financially sustainable, multi-faceted careers.
In Episode 01: The Day Job Funds the Dream Job, the duo will dive into their own journeys as multi-hyphenate professionals in the entertainment and business worlds. Carissa will talk about how her freelance media business supports her artistic career and how she built it into a full-time enterprise from the ground up. Emma Claire will discuss her journey as an actor and model while balancing a career in business strategy consulting. In Episode 02: Multi-Hyphenate and Multi-Business with Tara Lynn Steele, Tara Lynn Steele will join Carissa and Emma Claire to discuss building and managing multiple businesses while pursuing a performance career. In Episode 03: 5 Things Creatives can do TODAY to Improve their Financial Futures, Carissa and Emma Claire will walk through simple financial steps that can have a big impact on one’s financial future.
